'GIRLHOOD'

Project Abstract-

With the help of this project, I want to highlight how the patriarchal society is quite problematic.
I want to visually depict how we take misogyny so casually and how we’ve normalised it. Normalising social issues like misogyny and sexism would never change things; the problem will never cease to exist.
I want to depict how throughout the generations, these problems have always existed and things have barely changed with time; we’ve just gotten better at tolerating such situations.

Project Aim-

The aim of this project is not to change; as one cannot expect change overnight.
My aim for this project is to have an impact on people so that it always stays somewhere in the back of their minds.
I want it to open up a safe space for conversation. I want people to feel like they aren’t alone and that they can relate to someone/something.
After taking interviews, I decided on my final concept- “Trivial things make a big impact”
We often overlook the tiny, trivial things in life only to realise later on how big of an impact they’ve left in our lives.
